This policy explains what personal data Raklane collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form), the date your email was verified, and the date you agreed to our terms.
- Sign-up data: the IP address you signed up from. It is used to prevent abuse of free trials.
- Billing data:
- your wallet balance and transaction history;
- your top-up requests and the transfer receipts you upload. A receipt may show your name, bank and account number; we use it only to check your top-up and to send money back if needed (see the Refund Policy).
- Your apps and databases: the code, settings, environment variables and data you deploy. Environment variables and secrets are encrypted when stored.
- Usage data:
- resource metrics (CPU, memory, network) for your apps and servers;
- build logs and request logs, used to run, bill and troubleshoot the Service.
- Messages you send us, such as support emails.
How we use it
- to provide the Service, run your apps, and bill your usage;
- to secure your account and the platform, and prevent fraud and abuse;
- to send emails you need, such as account verification, billing notices and expiry warnings. We don't send marketing email without your consent;
- to answer your questions and fix problems;
- to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run Raklane, and only for that purpose:
- server and cloud infrastructure providers;
- email delivery providers;
- banks and payment providers that process your payments;
- DNS providers used for custom domains.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it or to protect the Service and its users.
Where your data is stored
- Your account and billing data are stored on Raklane's servers in Indonesia.
- Your apps and the databases we host run in Singapore, on servers from our cloud provider. Database backups are kept in object storage with that provider.
- If you connect your own servers (BYOC), the apps and data on them stay wherever those servers are.
How long we keep it
- Account data is kept while your account exists.
- Resource metrics are kept for 30 days.
- Database backups are kept as the latest 7 daily backups. Backups of a deleted database are kept for 7 more days.
- When a plan ends unpaid, a database's data (or a backup of it) is kept until the deletion date shown in your dashboard, then deleted.
- Billing records are kept as long as needed for accounting and legal requirements, even after your account is closed.
- After your account is closed, we delete or anonymise the rest of your personal data within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your personal data;
- correct it;
- delete your account and data;
- stop using it for a particular purpose.
Email support@raklane.com from your account's email address. We will reply within 14 days. Some data, such as billing records, may need to be kept for legal reasons.
Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, encryption of stored secrets, and access limited to people who need it to run the Service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you without undue delay.
Cookies and browser storage
Raklane uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as language and theme. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Children
Raklane isn't meant for children under 13. Users under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission (see our Terms). If you think a child under 13 has given us their data, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
We will post updates here with a new date, and tell you by email or in the dashboard about significant changes.
